Product Details

circa 1910

Seikosha Clock was a predecessor to the Seiko Corporation. This clock looks like a Schoolhouse clock but, the company calls it a Regulator. This clock was manufactured in Tokyo circa 1910. I have identified the clock as a Seikosha by the trademark on the movement, a "S" inside a diamond inside a circle. The clock is in only fair condition. The case appears to be a printed Rosewood finish and needs some TLC. The chiming mechanical movement works for a while and then stops, it needs to be serviced. The pendulum that came with the clock is decorative and has a "T" on it. I'm not sure what that means but, it might mean that it is not an original pendulum.
